Fitting in is overrated.

G'day. I'm Lauren, an Associate Creative Director at The Royals. I like advertising because the people here are way cooler, funnier and more ambitious than me. They keep me on my toes.

I'm a country kid who migrated to Melbourne at 18, with big hopes of becoming an out-of-work actor. Once I achieved my goal, I took 6 more gap years before finally deciding to study advertising at RMIT. Then, I dropped out and moved to France. I didn't get a degree, but nobody's asked to see it so far 🤞

Over the last 10 years, I’ve made a music video, a trillion-dollar shopper docket, an actually useful life mantra, and a moustache-hair suit that made the Guinness Book of World Records. I've judged some shows and won a few awards, including MADC's Emerging Creative of the Year and 'Pitch a Ride to Vegas' for Creative LIAsons.

Off the clock, I say yes to everything and trying my hand at anything. From short stories and kids books, to motherhood podcasts, to sexistential comics, to ASMR videos.
